Hello!
My name is Kathy Salmon. My passion for photography was born of my first love, animals. In 2000, volunteering at an animal shelter, I realized that better photos might help the animals get adopted. So, I picked up a camera and gave it my best to take appealing photos of my furry friends. I was thrilled to learn that those pics encouraged more adoptions! Soon after, a new passion ignited, and I attended Rhode Island School of Design to learn everything I could about becoming a better photographer.
Fast forward to 2017, I expanded my attention to real estate photography and trained with various architectural photographers to develop the technical and creative skills needed to produce superior quality images. Every photographer ultimately develops their own technique, and so have I.
I photograph to highlight what makes the house special to its current owner, while presenting its potential to the next owner. Correctly staging a home, finding the best angles, and representations is critical to my method. Most importantly, my deliberate use of natural light showcases vivid and sunlit images that are welcoming to potential buyers. Thanks for stopping by.
